If you run the numbers yourself, you’ll notice that the headline claims of this website are very conservative, especially when it comes to greenhouse gases and land.

The numbers are underestimates on purpose, to avoid undermining the campaign.

On the subject of water, it’s true that there’s contention over how the water impact of beef should be measured. This is why a lot of the statements about water have been softened, and also why you’ll notice that many of the numbers relating to water are lower than you might find elsewhere.
